Attempting to fix human coping mechanisms without first understanding human neurobiology is the architectural equivalent of renovating the penthouse of a skyscraper while the foundation is actively crumbling.

Psychotherapy, life coaching, and behavioral conditioning are highly effective tools, but they require a stable biological environment to take root. The scientific reality is state-dependent cognition. The physical state of the human nervous system dictates exactly which mental capabilities are available. When the autonomic nervous system perceives a threat (sympathetic activation or dorsal vagal freeze), it mechanically restricts access to the prefrontal cortex to conserve metabolic energy for physical survival.

Consequently, higher-order cognitive functions—empathy, complex problem solving, behavioral adaptation, and deep psychological processing—are biologically inaccessible. You cannot out-think a physical system crash. The psychological software simply will not load if the biological hardware is defending against an environmental threat.
